Vale is a small, elegant, floorstanding speaker. A truly remarkable performer that pushes musical fidelity past conventional boundaries of realism and sonic purity. Vale’s acoustically inert concrete cabinet allows its 6.5-inch woofer and 1-inch soft-dome tweeter to produce deep-reaching bass and true-to-life sound, all the way from the softest chamber-music passages to rock concert output levels. This modestly-sized floor stander is designed to work well in both smaller and larger rooms alike, surrounding you with effortless, natural sound devoid of any enclosure coloration.
Just like its smaller sibling, Vale’s enclosure is molded out of a specially-formulated concrete, resulting in a uniquely inert and sonically “dead” box. The speaker cabinet is irregularly shaped and internally damped to further minimize reflections and internal resonances.
The shape of Vale’s cabinet is acoustically adjusted. The front baffle is sloped and acoustically-treated, ideally positioning the drivers for proper phase-alignment while at the same time minimizing early reflections. The sound produced by the aligned drivers will reach the listener at the same time.
The pipe organ was our founder Bo Hansson’s most favorite instrument, and Vale really does it justice. But no matter what your favorite instrument or music genre is, you will discover more detail and feel closer to the original musical event than ever before.
If you like music - You will love Vale.
